Summers Day Ice Cubes ♡

Hello everyone,

Today I will be showing you how to make these adorable petal ice cubes. I think these are perfect to put in your drinks at a Summer barbecue or garden party. They are honestly so easy to make, yet they look amazing in your drinks.

You will need:

Petals

Ice cube tray (preferably squared)

Water *obvs*

1. First of all you will need to gather some flower petals, you can get these from your garden or even the forest. I collected a variety of colour flowers, however I think the brighter the better! Make sure you get plenty because I actually had to get more than this. It is so important you wash them because nobody wants bugs in their drink *ugh*.

2. Next you need to fill you ice cube tray with water, and pop the petals in place. Bare in mind the petals may move so they won't be in the exact position as they are now when they are ice cubes. I really like the look of the bright petals with the white ones, because I think they compliment eachother really nicely.

3. Now you need to put the tray in the freezer so the ice cubes can become ice cubes! I left mine in the freezer over night so that they were totally frozen.

4. Once your ice cubes are fully frozen, all that is left to do is pop them out and arrange them in your glass. Enjoy!

I hope you liked this blog post and if you would like me to do more easy DIY things, then please let me know in the comments!

Review; benifit gimme' brow♡

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to be reviewing the benifit gimme' brow! I know a few people who are unsure as to whether they should purchase this product, so I thought it would be helpful to give you my honest opinion on the product! It is quite expensive, so you kinda' need to be sure if you like it before purchasing it!

I really like the packaging on the product, it's really cool!

Mine is in the shade light/medium! If you have blonde eyebrows this may be a bit dark for you but it depends on the look your going for I suppose! The shade of this is perfect for me! It matches perfectly with my hair colour!

So this is the actual product! As you can see it's not that big, which is a dissapointment as I imagined it to be bigger... The consistency is fantastic, the benifit lady at the counter said it contains marshmallow extract which is really good! This makes your eyebrows look more full and bold.
This is my favourite part, the wand! I love this it's amazing, it makes the process of filling in eyebrows a whole lot quicker and easier! This helps shape them to the shape you want, and it helps with the colour give off.

I absolutely love the gimme' brow! It adds huge definition to my eyebrows, it stays on all day! Looks amazing, the colour is perfect for me, the applicator is ideal for getting the exact shape you want your eyebrows to be! The only thing I don't like is that you don't get much product and it's not that cheap! It's £16.50! But honestly if you are looking for a really benifitial eyebrow tool then this is the one for you! I give this a 8/10!  I hope you liked this post please comment below for more

On Wednesday's We Wear Pink | OOTD #2

The weather perked up a little so I decided to throw together one of my Springiest outfits. I think this outfit would be perfect for Spring/Summer because I can imagine wearing it to a festival along with a floral crown.

My beautiful playsuit is from River Island and I absolutely love it because it's such a beautiful colour. It has a really nice mesh crochet detailing across your tummy. I can only describe the colour as a vibrant bubblegum pink, which I absolutely love, as it is a nice alternative to pastal colours.

My denim jacket is from Miss Selfridge last year and I wear it all the time because I think it's such a good staple item of clothing to have in your wardrobe. Is a medium stonewashed denim jacket, with a gorgeous cream crochet detailing across the back. I think is such a pretty spin on the classic denim jacket.

As you can see the playsuit has an adorable cut-out in the back, which I think adds some interest to the playsuit.

For accessories I wore my ASOS tortoiseshell glasses with rose gold hardware. I cannot get enough of these sunglasses I think they are amazing! I also wore my Pandora bracelet.

On my feet I wore these super cute sandals from Primark, which I purchased last year.

So this is my outfit, I hope you enjoyed this blog post. If you would like to see more OOTD's please leave a comment below!

Very mini town haul...

Hello,

I went to town today and brought a few things, I thought I would share them with you...

I got this frog ring in topshop, it was £2.50! The rings in topshop have been really beautiful lately. I don't really wear rings, but I'm sure I'll be wearing this all the time!
Then I went into primark and brought these really cute blue and white floral shorts. They're really soft, and would look really cool in summer with a 'boyfriend' t-shirt and converse. These were only £3!
Also from primark, I brought these frilly ankle socks for £2. I love these colours, cream, lilac and mint green! I think these look perfect in summer with low converse and shorts.
Then I went into poundland and picked up a Revlon 'baby stick' in a beautiful coral peach! (Shade; Tahitian) this is lip and cheek tint! Retail priced at £7.
Also from poundland I picked up a rimmel London 'vinyl gloss' in the shade 'bite me'. It's a stunning sparkly coral/pink!

I hope you enjoyed reading this, if you like these type of posts then please let us know in the comments. Thank you!

Revlon scented nail varnish review!

Hello,

Today I'm going to be doing a review on the revlon scented nail varnishes from poundland!

These are the revlon scented nail varnishes I have! They're all such beautiful unique colours.
This one is in the shade 'mon cherry'! As you can probably tell it smells like cherrys when dry! I love this colour, it's a lovely cherry red with no shimmer. The scent is really yummy, but doesn't last long! It's so easy to apply with no second coat needed!
This one is called 'cotton candy'! The scent of this is delightful, the colour is a pearly pink which is really elegant and pretty! As this is quite light, It looks better with two coats!
This is a beautiful shimmery barbie pink! It's really easy to apply and smells amazing, this is in the shade 'sublime strawberry'! (I always wonder why pink things have a name like this, as strawberrysorbet are red! Haha!)
This one is in the shade 'ocean breeze'. It's a stunning metallic turquoise colour, the appliance is really good as you only need one coat!
This one is my favourite in the shade 'not so blueberry'! I absolutely LOVE the colour of this it's a gorgeous indigo shade with blue undertones. I have it on right now and it looks amazing! The appliance is fab as I only needed one coat!

Revlon is probably my favourite brand for nail varnishes as they're so inexpensive, (especially when from poundland). They're such good quality and last on my nails for at least a week without chipping! The colour range is beautiful, and the scents are so amazing and last for ages! I definatly reccomend these as they're so pretty and smell so good, they're only £1!

Poundland beauty haul

Hello,

Today I went Mother's Day shopping with my dad and sister, I went into poundland and found some amazing makeup goodies! Keep on reading to see what I got...
As soon as I got to the makeup section I saw this beautiful berry coloured lip gloss! It's Calvin Klein and is in the shade 'berry cool'! It's a really pretty berry colour, it's super hydrating on the lips and very pigmented!
Then I saw this really cool bright pink colour, this again is a lip gloss and is in the shade 'fuchsia'! This isn't as bright on as it looks but it's still really pigmented!
Another Calvin Klein lipgloss! This one is probably my favourite, it's in the shade 'rich&famous'. It's a gorgeous coral pink, perfect for spring and summer! Again this is very pigmented, I definatly reccomend these lip glosses, they're only £1!
You may or may not know Sally Hansen is a really good expensive brand! I was so suprised to see the sugar coats in poundland! I saw the yellow one a couple of weeks ago but wasn't to sure on the colour! As soon as I saw this shade I had to get it, it's a really classy shimmery raspberry colour, I absolutely adore this! In the shade 'red velvet'.
The next thing I picked up was another nail varnish! It's by revlon in the shade sublime strawberry! Oh my god guys this is SCENTED! When it drys it's scented, I can't wait to paint my nails with this tonight! This is a really pretty shimmery barbie pink! If anyone wants me to do a review on this leave a comment below!
I also saw another revlon nail varnish in the shade cotton candy, this is a cloudy pearly pink! This is also scented, which gets me really exited!
Then I saw a revlon lipstick! I picked up the shade 'juicy apricot'! I think these are French, which is quite cool! There were quite a few shades of these in the shop but most were quite dark berry ones, seeing as I don't have many orangey nude shaded lippys I though I would get this shade! I tried this on as soon as I got home it's so beautiful and glossy, it's almost the same as the revlon lipbutters but a fraction of the price!

That's everything I purchased today, I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope I have inspired you to go into poundland to check out the makeup! Also if you want a review on Any of these products then please leave requests below!

February Favourites...

Hi everyone,

Today I'm going to be showing you my February favourites. These are just things I've generally been loving throughout February. I will leave links below so that you can purchase these items if you want to. I hope this post gives you some inspiration as to what to buy, enjoy!

The first item, is my Models Own nail varnish from their Fruit Pastel collection in the shade Blueberry Muffin. I really love this nail varnish as it is a gorgeous duck egg blue colour, which I think is really nice for Spring. The quality is not amazing but on the whole I think this is a great nail varnish. To be honest the scent isn't very obvious when it is on your nails, but I like the product nevertheless. http://www.modelsownit.com/products/nails/fruit-pastel-collection.html
The next product I have been loving is this Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume. I actually finished this during February as I wore it so often, but the packaging is so beautiful that I still keep it in my room. This is a great everyday scent, I would describe it as a sweet, floral and fresh scent, sorry for that awful description. I like the fact that it is quite a subtle fragrance that is not too in your face. Personally I think it is worth buying it just for the amazing bottle! I know that Marc Jacobs do a lot of other brilliant perfumes that might be worth checking out too. http://www.marcjacobs.com/marc-jacobs/fragrance/daisyeau4.2/daisy-eau-so-fresh-4-2-oz?sort=
Throughout February I have loved wearing Sleek's blusher in the shade Rose Gold. This blusher is a really pretty, girly pink shimmer colour, which looks amazing when its applied on your cheeks/ cheekbones. In my opinion Sleek have the best drugstore blushers on the market as they are all so pigmented and there is such a wide range of shades to suit everyone. http://www.superdrug.com/sleek-makeup/sleek-rose-gold-blush/invt/222205
I have been using and absolutely love The Righteous Butter from Soap and Glory. I apply this to my entire body after a shower or bath and its has made my skin feel so soft and moisturised. Also it smells amazing, which is another plus. I think that it is best used on slightly damp skin. I got mine as part of the Relax Station, which is full of amazing products. http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%C2%99-The-Righteous-Butter%C2%99-Lotion-500ml_1208210/
I purchased this bag from H&M in February and I have used it so much since. I had been after a black fringed bag for quite a while and this one is exactly what I wanted! I love the gold hardware because I think it really compliments the all over fringed look. This bag has a short strap and a detachable long strap ,which has camouflaged in the the tassel's, this is ideal for me because I prefer to use a long strap most of the time, but it is nice to have the option to use a shorter one. This bag is a perfect size for me as I can fit everything I need in it, it also has a variety of zipped and open pockets.  I'm afraid that this item has literally just gone in the sale, but you may still be able to purchase it in store.
Pretty much all month I have been wearing Soap and Glory's Thick & Fast mascara. At first I didn't really like this mascara, but I have grown to absolutely love it. This is a jet black mascara that adds a lot of volume to your lashes. There's not a lot to say about this product other than that it is great! http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-8482-Thick-Fast™-Super-Volume-Mascara-Superjet-Black_1238274/
Last but certainly not least I have really loved wearing this MAC lipstick in the shade Hue. This lipstick is a nude/ soft pale pink shade, which really suits all skin tones,it is a Glaze finish. My grandparents kindly bought me this lipstick and it is my second MAC lipstick I own. Although MAC lipsticks are a little pricey I think they are definitely worth it because they are such good quality. I have had so many compliments while wearing this lipstick, so I 100% recommend it! http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/168/310/Products/Lips/Lipstick/Lipstick/index.tmpl

Daisy's Q&A...

Hello,

Yesterday I asked on Instagram for some questions so I could answer them on here, I got quite a lot of responses so thank you guys! Here are a few of them...

1. @heyitisjess asked - what is your favourite clothes shop?
~ My favourite shop is either Zara or River Island! I love zara because the clothes are really pretty and girly, also they have a lot of dogtooth printed stuff, which is my favourite! River Island is really good because the clothes are fashionable and not babyish, I find that a lot of kids sections in shops sell babyish clothes!

2. @Blossmingdreams asked - what's you favourite nail polish?
~ My favourite nail polish brand is either Barry m or revlon! At the moment I'm really loving the colour duchess which is a sparkly Barry m one! It's so pretty it's a pinky silver, I've got it on right now and I can't stop staring at my nails! My favourite revlon shade is buttercup it's such a pretty lemon colour, it's perfect for spring!

3. @vintagefloral_x asked - who is your inspiration?
~ I know this is so typical but my inspiration is Zoella! She's such an amazing person, and loves everything that I love! She's the one the inspired me and Victoria to make this blog, we really enjoy writing this blog! We didn't start writing this blog to copy zoella we made it to share our opinions on fashion and everything we love!

4. @beth_grier asked - favourite beauty brand?
~ My favourite high end beauty brand is probably MAC, but my favourite drugstore brand has to be either maybelline or rimmel London! Maybelline does the best mascaras but the eyeliner I have for rimmel is amazing! So I can't choose!

5. @oxlivia asked - what made you want to start a blog/ Instagram?
~ As I said before zoella was our main inspiration for our blog, and to get as much advertisement for our blog we started a twitter and Instagram along with it! The Instagram has been such a big success, we never knew we would ever have 2.5K followers! So if you follow us, thank you!

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did answering your questions! Thank you again for following us on Instagram! Also we would love if you could follow our blog? If you follow it Leave your Instagram name I'm the comments we'll follow you!

Daisy's Cambridge Haul...

Hello,

So today my mum, sister and I, went shopping in Cambridge! I didn't get absolutely loads, but I did get quite a bit...

The first thing I brought was the Lush bubblegum lip scrub! Omg this smells, tastes amazing and makes your lips so so so so soft. As soon as I put this on, and licked it off my dry lips felt so smooth! I'm so glad I brought this It was £5.50, so quite expensive but it is definitely worth it!

The next thing I got are these really cute shoes. I don't really know what to call them but they're so cute and only £12 from Primark. I personally think that they look really expensive. They're definitely not everyone's 'cup of tea' but they're certainly mine!

In Zara I got a Plain black cardigan for £11.99 as I really needed one, and it matches with pretty much everything!

My sister Yasmin set off travelling in Thailand last week, and whilst she was packing I saw she had this navy poker dot scrunchy with a bow! I instantly fell in love. Its from H&M and was £1.99!

In Cambridge they had this really cool shop called 'tiger' it was like a mixture of Ikea and paperchase. Everything is so cheap, I got two of these jars for £1, and a pack of these sour sweets for £1.

This is probably one of my favourite things that I purchased today, its from Zara and was in the sale for £5.99 I got the last one! If you read my January Favourites blog post, I said how much I've been loving dogtooth. This dogtooth skirt is so cute, it comes in at the top and goes out towards the bottom! I'm really pleased with this!

How cute is this hair band? So cute if you ask me, it was only £1.50 from Primark. I saw it on someone's instagram a couple of days ago and really wanted it!

These Calvin Klein creme eyeshadows are so pretty, I've got quite a lot of these and thought I'd add these pretty shades to my collection. If you are wondering where they're from, they're actually from Poundland! In Poundland there is a lot of very expensive brands, so I suggest you have a look because you never know what you might find!

This Revlon nail varnish in 'charismatic'. This was also from Poundland, I also have a lot of these as they're only £1 where as in superdrug they're £5!
The last thing I got was this coral floral skirt, I fell in love as soon as I saw this. It was also so inexpensive at £7.99. There was also blue floral but I preferred this colour!

I also got some gifts for people, which I'm not going to show because they might see! I'm so happy with everything I got today, If you have any questions on what I purchased please feel free to comment!
